Catholic parish in Texas closes doors to immigrants
LA CROIX –
A Catholic parish in South Texas is closing its doors to illegal immigrants after years of providing housing and food.
The Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McAllen, Texas, has since 2014 been the sanctuary for tens of thousands of people who crossed illegally into the U.S. from Central America and Mexico, reports infowars.com
But on August 5 the parish church posted a bulletin announcing it would end use of its facilities as a makeshift migrant camp.
